This year on April 27th the sixth Global Azure Bootcamp is happening. All around the world communities are hosting an Azure bootcamp. Each user group will host their own event which you can find here.

This year I tried to create my own event for my local community. Unfortunately, I was unable to get a sponsor for the location. Hopefully next year I will be able to organise an event. It seems this year I was not the only one who had this issue. Aidan Finn, an Azure MVP from Ireland had the same issue. He then had an idea to do an Online Global Azure Bootcamp.

I thought this was an amazing idea, not only for people who have no event near them or unable to travel, but it will also be available after the event also, so if you are busy watching Avengers End Game that Saturday, you can still be part of this great event.

So, you can read more about the Global Online Azure bootcamp here. The YouTube channel is at

My session is on the Azure Role Based Exams and is happening at 8am in the UK. In the session, I go over the New Azure Role Based certifications. The 3 different levels, the paths needed, who should take what, and I also share some learning resources I have found helpful.

If you have any questions from my session, please reach out and i will help as much as I can.

Pixel Robots.

I’m Richard Hooper aka Pixel Robots. I started this blog in 2016 for a couple reasons. The first reason was basically just a place for me to store my step by step guides, troubleshooting guides and just plain ideas about being a sysadmin. The second reason was to share what I have learned and found out with other people like me. Hopefully, you can find something useful on the site.
