I wasn’t aware this had been added.

The biggest issue I can see with it at the moment though is that there is no way to prevent the start VM task from triggering at a weekend (something that can be done with the runbook method). A big cost sponge is VM’s running at weekends when no-one is using them.

I would have expected when selecting the frequency, to be given further options. For example, choosing day, I would expect to see select boxes for the days I want the task to run.

Maybe a feature for the future.

Hello, the interval in the example is one. The box below is days, so in this case it would be every 1 day. I hope that clears it up for you.
